What players can post today

Players choose usernames and display names, pick avatars from a fixed set, write table talk, and can play YouTube links in YouTube's own player. PlanetMesa does not let players upload pictures, video or audio to our servers: a picture you use for your own table top or room stays on your device. So the content on PlanetMesa that could infringe someone's copyright is limited to text and links.

Reporting infringement

If you believe something on PlanetMesa infringes your copyright, email support@planetmesa.com with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
  3. where the material is on PlanetMesa (a username, a table, a link), in enough detail for us to find it;
  4. your name, address, telephone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.

For YouTube videos played at a table, the video itself is hosted by YouTube; you can also report it to YouTube directly.

Counter-notices

If something of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with: your signature; what was removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. Repeat infringers

We will close the accounts of players who repeatedly infringe others' copyrights, in appropriate circumstances. [counsel: define the policy]
