Help & safety

Support, reporting a problem, and keeping the table safe.

Someone in danger?

If anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (911 in the United States).

Report a player

The fastest way is in the game, because it carries the table and the game with it:

The player is never told who reported them. You can also block them in the same place: you won't see, hear or read each other again, and they can't send you requests or invites. Moderators read reports against the Community Guidelines; a report that a child may be at risk is looked at first.

Child safety

PlanetMesa prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation of any kind, including grooming, and any sexual content involving a minor. Accounts involved are removed, and PlanetMesa will report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the authorities as the law requires. Report it in the game as A child may be at risk, or email us at the address below. [DRAFT — REQUIRES OWNER/LEGAL REVIEW: the CSAM reporting process and the named child-safety contact.]

Contact us

When you write about an account, send it from the email address on that account, and include your username. We'll never ask for your password.

Appeals

If you think a warning, name reset, suspension or ban was a mistake, email us from your account's address with your username and what happened. A moderator who did not make the original decision will look at it where possible. [DRAFT — REQUIRES OWNER/LEGAL REVIEW: appeal process and response times.]
