What is kept
Only what the table needs to work, and you can take all of it back.
If you have a profileYour sign-in, your name at the table, your record
Your email, username, the name and face you show at the table, and a password stored only as a hash — never the password itself. Your record too: games played, won and lost, capicúas, tranques and how you have done with each partner. That record is what the boards are made of, under your username.
If you came by invitation, without a profileA cookie for your seat, and nothing scored
A signed cookie so your chair survives a reload, and a visit record. Its address and browser are deleted after 30 days; a count of tables and games stays. Guests keep no stats.
What is never keptChat, camera, microphone, your music
Table talk lives in memory for the people at that table and goes when the table closes (if the server restarts mid-game it is saved for at most an hour so the game carries on). Camera and microphone pass between players and are never recorded. Music you add plays from your own device and is never uploaded. No advertising, no analytics, no tracking across sites.
Taking it backDownload your data, or delete your account
Settings → Account & help has Download my data and Delete my account (also in your profile, and on the web at /account/delete). Deleting removes your profile, record, friends and saved rules for good; what is kept, and why, is in the privacy policy.

Dominoes basics
The table
Four players in two teams. Your partner sits across from you; the players on either side of you are your opponents. A double-six set has 28 fichas: seven each, and nothing left over to draw.
Your dominoes
Each ficha has two ends, and each end shows a number from blank (0) to six. A double has the same number on both ends.
Your turn
Turns go round the table one player at a time. On your turn, play one ficha that fits — or pass if nothing does. The first hand of a game always opens with the double six.
Open ends
The open ends are the numbers at the two ends of the line of play. To play, a ficha must match one of them.
Passing
When nothing in your hand matches either open end, you pass: tap Paso. With Auto pass on (Settings → Controls), PlanetMesa passes for you.
Doubles
A double lies across the line, and the open end it leaves still shows the same number.
Winning a hand
Play your last ficha and you win the hand — that’s called going out (Dominó). Your side scores the points left in everyone else’s hands.
Blocked hands
Tranque: nobody can play. The hand goes to the fewest points left in hand; the House Rules say exactly how ties and teams count.
Scoring
The side that wins a hand scores the points left in the other hands, plus any bonuses for special plays the House Rules turn on.
Winning the game
The first side to reach the target score wins the game. Some tables count games instead: each hand won counts as one game.
Special plays
Capicúa — winning the hand with a last ficha that fits either open end. Chuchazo — winning the hand with the double blank as your last ficha. Peseta — your ficha leaves the other three players unable to play, so the turn comes straight back to you. Pase de salida — the next player can’t answer the opening ficha. Each scores a bonus when the House Rules give one.
House Rules
The host sets them before the game: the target score, a turn timer, which special plays score and how much, the words the table uses (Dominicana, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Jamaica, English, or your own), and the table effects. House Rules in the table panel shows what any table plays by.
Using PlanetMesa
Seats & teams
At an online table, before the game starts, tap Move here on an open seat and your card moves there. Between hands, Change seats does the same. Partners sit across from each other.
Playing a domino
Tap a glowing ficha once to lift it, then tap it again to play it — nothing is played until that second tap. A ficha that fits both ends asks which end you mean. Press and hold a ficha (finger or mouse) and a menu opens beside it: Play it, Slam it down when the table allows Domino Slams, or Turn it round to read it the other way up.
Domino order
Drag one of your fichas along your rack to a new spot. The order is yours alone — nobody else sees it.
Camera & views
View → Positions: My seat brings the camera back to your playing position, Table view looks straight down at the play, and Room view steps back to show the room. Look around by dragging the room (mouse wheel to zoom; on a phone, one finger turns and two fingers pinch to zoom). Reset view brings the camera home; Save current view keeps an angle for this room; Lock view keeps the camera still.
Domino size
View → Domino size makes your own fichas bigger or smaller, and Domino tilt leans them from upright to lying back (Auto lets each view choose). Both change only your screen.
Show the line
View → Show the line puts a small copy of the line of play in a box you can drag anywhere. Right-click it (press and hold on a phone) to pin it in place, size it, make it see-through, put it back, or hide it.
Domino slams
When the House Rules allow them, press and hold a ficha, then bring it down hard — the table shakes and everything on it jumps.
The table panel
Score, Players, Table Talk, Music, Table & Room and House Rules live together in the panel beside the table. Fold it away with › and bring it back with Panel. On a phone it opens from the table handle.
Order
Order puts a drink, a hookah or a cigar by your chair, where the whole table can see it — for players who have confirmed they’re 18 or over on their profile. Everyone else can order a glass of water. Tap your glass to sip; with Drink effects on, a few sips blur your view until you play.
Table Talk
Chat for everyone at the table — tap Table Talk anywhere on its bar to open or fold it. Messages stay at that table.
On a phone
Tap a ficha to lift it and tap again to play it. One finger on the room turns the camera and two fingers pinch to zoom. View and More open as sheets from the bottom, and ▼ folds your controls away (▴ brings them back).
